Whatever day your Saturday is, that’s the day to get away from it all and immerse yourself in the peace and quiet of sailing, all day. It doesn’t particularly matter where you’re going, because the destination isn’t necessarily what matters: it’s the time on the water, far, far away from the office, the traffic, and the phone.

(That latter part – getting away from the phone – is a self-imposed challenge for us nowadays, as we carry bits and pieces of our office and day to day obligations with us with our phones. I am a fine art painter who creates representational images celebrating light, life, and color.
