Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Sunrise found me at Sweet Spring in Los Osos. This small wetland preserve is treasure, special at sunrise and sunset. The light is as rich as the birdlife, the reflections of the suns rays make it a true treasure of the Central Coast.
Born in Denmark in 1948. After years of traveling I came to America in time for the Bicentennial in 1976. The first ten years in Hawaii, before settling here. My photography centers on my love for the natural world and the beauty of The Central Coast. We have so many wonderful hiking trails, small delightful towns and villages, secret beaches and remote hills. In winter the area will be richly green, as summer takes over our beloved hills turn to gold. It has been a great joy to be able to share my love of these places with others through photography.
